Dreams Do Come True !!!! : )

Entering The Last Year in College,wanted things do start with a Bang !!!!! It surely did !!!! Becoming a Contingent Leader for Youth-Fest,the festival of MUMBAI UNIVERSITY is something that no other person would get it !!!! Along with my Co-Contingent Leader,we went in with so many participants this year !!!! Was happy to make sure that we won in so many events !!!! Doing well in Youth-Fest,i turned my attention to Annual Talent Search !!!! My last competition in college,sang Shankar Mahadevan's 'Breathless' and managed to pull it off very well !!!! Not only that,i also came 2nd with this song !!!!
As soon as the performance got over and after da day's ATS was done,i was called in to be declared as the CULTURAL SECRETARY OF MITHIBAI COLLEGE !!!! What else could be a bigger joy then this : ) I was in such a very happy mood !!!!! Youth-Fest came in,i.e,the Finals of that competition !!!! We managed to win in 7 out of 8 events which include 4 in drama and 3 in western music !!!!! Wherever have i tried my luck,i've been very very lucky !!!!! ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT DREAMS DO COME TRUE !!!! : )

The Last Hurrah in College : )

The First time i came into Mithibai College,it was a really different environment all together.First i thought,am i really in this college,(i had got 73% in my SSC exams,got in through cultural quota) then i said to myself, 'I'm in this college for Real,Man'.It was a dream come true for me to be in this great college.Some of those memories were absolutely great.Like,Participating in 'Annual Talent Search' and winning it for singing.That was when people recognized me.People knew me as a person,in never seen before avatar.Because,some of my friends felt that i was joking with them that i could sing ;) But,when i managed to win,they thought,well,this guy is something special.It was such a great feeling.

New Friends kept adding on,was able to take part in the 'Youth Fest' of Mumbai University repersenting our college.Had made i don't know how many friends.For me,it was absolutely easy to make friends as time passed on.The Best Part was to retain most of my best friends.That's what i did,when i was in college.Doing too much of 'Lukkha-Giri'.That's what i actually i did in most of my F.Y.B.Com days.It was absolutely stunning moment for me to lead the troupe this time around for the Second Time Representing for the 'Youth Fest' in S.Y.B.Com.Made more friends in our annual college festival 'Kshitij'.It was a pretty good experience for me.

Four years passed on in this college,and that to so fast,that i didn't even realise it.I didn't even realise it that it's my final year in 'Mithibai College'.I don't know how will life be after college,maybe,it will be as bad as my school life getting over.Certain things i wanna do,before i leave college is to win the 'Youth Fest' for our college.It will be a perfect moment for me to say 'My Last Hurrah In College Has Come'.Whatever it may be,I will miss my college a lot for the opportunity to explore myself in music,for the friends i've made,for the awesome memories that have gone by,but the best of all,for what the college that has given to me so much.It will always remain in my heart as the best college in the world. :')

THE INSPIRATION : )

Some of the people who know me know that I Love Music !!! I love any kind of Music(provided it is bearable),which brings inspiration to you to just relax where your lost and then start all over again !!!! My Dad wanted to become a playback singer in his time,like in the 1991-92 !!! He's sung in chorus with Music Directors like Laxmikant-Pyarelal,Aadesh Shrivastava,Anu Malik,Uttam Singh,etc.Papa had sung in chorus in quite a lot of films.Even chorus singing is full of politics,i must tell you !!!! He had a secured job in MTNL,so he did all of the Music as his hobby !!!! He used to go for chorus singing for 6 years !!!! 1 day my father was insulted pretty badly by Music-Director Pyarelal of the duo above !!!! Dad was in such an angry mood,he looked into the eyes of Pyarelalji and sung the chorus lines !!!! After that incident,he left the chorus singing forever,but not his love for Music !!!! He started his own stage show known as 'Orchestra Melody Beats' !!!! At that time,Dad had received a letter of an option to go back to his native place in Karnataka and do his job for BSNL (Apparently BSNL and MTNL were joint partners at that time) !!!! Dad stayed back in Mumbai for my sake !!!! Within 1 month,I was selected to perform for Kalyanji's 'Little Wonders' at an age of 4 years !!!! Kalyanji was famous duo of Kalyanji-Anandji who gave music for films like Zanjeer,Don,etc. I went to USA to perform along with them at an age of 6 years !!!! Now,I've done more then 350 Stage Shows and about 15 TV Serials/Competitions in Singing !!!! But,it was my father who groomed me to become a good singer !!!! It is he,who fought with the world just to make sure that i was protected !!!! His only dream was to see me become a great Playback Singer of India !!!! The journey for me till now has been quite easy under my father's shadow !!!! It'll be a difficult path to move ahead with !!!! What was and is and will be my greatest inspiration for Music,My Papa !!!! :')

9TH C,The Best Time of my school Life : )

St.Stanislaus High School,the name says it all ! The Best School in Bandra,maybe even Mumbai !!!! The Best year in school was in the year 2005-06.The best class,definitely 9th C.Never thought to be such a wonderful year for the students.Apparently,The Teachers used to get scared to come to our class.Our Teacher 'Liz Fernandes',was probably the only one who could try and control the whole of the classroom.She was the best teacher you could get ever.

Few moments in our time was when Tr.Ulka would come in and all of the students in the class would sing 'Happy Birthday To You'.Whenever she used to enter,we would always do that for her.Some of the Students in the class formed a group called 'Choron Ki Basti' aka CKB.This group would steal Pencils,Pens,Rubber,etc.So if they would find anything special,forget it that the owner would ever get it !!! : D They would sing songs like Billada Billada,Philo loo Philo lo,n some other few songs.

In PT period,we would go to play.But,we would never come back even after the PT period would get over.When no teachers were around,we would have chalk fights in the class n there was always a few innocent people who would always get hurt.The Banging of the desks when all of us would sing with the CKB group,the trouble makers of the teachers that we all were,but,some of these moments are just hard to describe on a blog.

These were some of  the moments that has always remain etched in my minds.Even the teachers would never forget their trouble makers but fun loving students.I can surely that 9C was the best class of our times,and will always remain a 'Legendary' Class.
